Eclipse - Cabins 1249 & 1126

Hi All,

 

I have already been reading through the numerous posts on the forum regarding hump cabins etc but I have some specific questions. I know cabins 1249 & 1126 are Concierge cabins but I assume they are just as good as the 1A's in location as they are on the slanted part of the hump? Only real reason I am going for Concierge is the cost is minimal and I need the additional point to push me to elite.

 

1. Have read they have footstools that the 1A's don't can anyone confirm?

2. They are on Deck 10 is there any issue with overhang etc?

Yes, unlike the 1As they do have a footstool. I was in 1108 looking forward. You do notice the overhang, but it really isn't bad and not too shady depending upon of course where the sun is. Pic below gives an idea of the overhang:

Thanks, Trying to decide whether to drop down to deck 9 as the overhang would be less noticeable?

Last year, we sailed in 1231 on the Eclipse, the forward slant of the same hump; C2 cabin. It's a great location. We had a footstool. No overhang problem as far as we were concerned. Loved the balcony!

Thank You :-) Just seen the cabins on deck 9 that are available are the cabins that have an even bigger balcony so tempted to move

Aren't they 1As on deck 9? Bear in mind the picture I posted shows forward of the hump where the overhang is two floors up. In 1249 and 1126 the overhang will be three floors up. To be honest I wouldn't get too hung up on the even bigger balconies. I've stayed in both and either are a very good size.

We have stayed in 1247 three times and never noticed the overhang. Both cabins are in a perfect location.

The only overhang on Deck 10 is the balcony above on Deck 11.

 

Deck 11 up forward has the overhang from the pool, and Deck 12 back aft the overhang from the buffet area.
