I have a group of 12. We will need to get from the MIA airport to the port and them from the port to a hotel (Comfort Suites) Would it be best to just get some taxis to take us to the port? What about from the port to the hotel?

I would just go with the taxis in both situations.

Sounds like 3 van taxis should be able to handle 12 plus bags. From MIA direct to POM the fare per cab is $24+tip (flat rate - ignore the meter). From POM to your hotel will be on the meter -- probably about $30 per cab inlcuding the tip.

Thanks a ton! I did reserve vasn from MIA Executive Transportation Corp and they are TROUBLE! they WILL NOT RETURN my calls, it sounds like I am calling a house phone, and have heard from others not to use them!!! It sounds like cabs are the way!

I assume I can find them easily!
