What is the status of this year’s Diamonds in December? I understand some people have received emails stating that it won’t be taking place. Is this true? – Jim T.

This year we will not be hosting, “Diamonds in December” but we are always looking for new ways to reward and thank our Crown & Anchor Society members for their continued appreciation to our brand and to the cruising industry. I'm hoping the "new ways to reward and thank our Crown & Anchor members" will be something that will be convenient and possible to use at a time we can use it.

 

I notice also Adam says Crown & Anchor members--not Diamond, Diamond Plus or Pinnacle members in particular. I take that to mean, Royal wants to reward other echelons of C&A and not just the highest echelons. The defunct Diamonds in December definitely left out Gold, Platinum and Emerald levels in the cold with no incentives or rewards.

Old news. Has actually resulted in some of us looking at Dec. bookings now.

 

No way would I ever cruise under the "old" DD system. Too many....."self important/entitled" individuals.
