Unpredictable. The starboard side is most likely to be towards the dock, but that might not most scenic.

True! There is PLENTY to see everywhere! The dock is not always "scenic"! There's more privacy on your balcony when in port if you are away from the dock....no workers and other passengers peering up at you!

 

And...there's no way to tell which way the ship will pull into the dock area!
