HleeCruiser Posted February 23, 2014 #332 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Christine, Which of the MDR menus that you posted is designated "Chef's Dinner"? Some have suggested this is a good night to do a specialty restaurant. Thanks,

Some have suggested this is a good night to do a specialty restaurant. Thanks, Are you kidding?! You'd miss the Goat Cheese Souffle! Chef's Dinner is one of my favourite nights; I'd never miss that or Italian Night -- but I'd definitely skip the last night, as I don't care for much on the Landfall dinner menu. You know why I'm sharing all this? Because taste is so subjective. No one can tell you what a good night to skip is for you. Once onboard, you can see the actual menus and make your final decision then.

LovetheSea Posted February 24, 2014 #338 Share Posted February 24, 2014 I dream about Princess Souffles. Passion fruit, Orange, Chocolate etc. The fruit tarts were always available at the International Cafe the last time I was on a Princess ship in June. Also a favorite. What would you recommend that night? Kathy Eggplant Parm and! the shrimp/mussels appetizer and/or the carpaccio appetizer [on my last cruise, this was featured on a different night, but it's so good that I'd consider eating 3 appys if it's on the menu on Italian night!] pasta e fagioli soup veal marsala tiramisu

rgmacm Posted February 26, 2014 #347 Share Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Someone asked for the menus on a 7 Day cruise. I found this on another thread... Day 1 embarkation is always the same menu as Day 1 menu posted here Day 2 is the Formal night - Captains Welcome Dinner - the same menu as posted here for Day 2 The other formal night is Day 6 and the menu is what is posted here as Day 12 The other menus used are Day 3, 11, 13, & 14 from Christine's posts....I THINK in that order, but not positive. At least this will give people an idea of what to expect. The poster ended by saying that these could change by itinerary...???
