Ipod in cabin?

April Jewel

Recommended Posts

Hi we set sail on Monday and cannot remember whether Celebrity have their TV's blacked out so you can't play ipods through them? We know this has happened on a previous cruise line but can't remember which one

We love to listen to music in our cabin but don't have any speakers.

Thanks

The TVs are set to hotel mode and inputs/outputs disabled. As Tiggertastic says your best bet is to buy some travel speakers. I bought a small docking station a few years ago and wouldn't be without it. If you are staying in a suite they now have docking stations (and I thought they were very good).

There's a company called iHome that make really great, portable speakers for iPads and iPods. They're very small, packable and have pretty good sound. Some are run by battery and some you have to plug into an outlet.
