Clip to attach sun hat to shirt

I read somewhere that there are clips that attach to the back of a sunhat and the other end to your back collar so you can't lose your hat in the wind. Anyone hear of this? Just wondering if it worked.....

Most hats have some sort of tie....either for under your chin or around the back of your head! Just buy a hat with that feature!

I have several of them. I've got a convertible, so I like to be sure my hat does not fly off my head at 80mph ;)

 

I've got some old ones from Chums and other places. But, if you are "crafty", you can make your own by using 2 alligator clips and some webbing/rope/ribbon...

DH uses one when we ski--bought it in a ski shop.

They also sell them for attaching children's mittens to their coat sleeves.

These are popular among boaters, too, and can be found in many boating catalogs and websites. Very handy for jetskiing!
