Rare LHT28 Posted September 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2013 You select the required number of excursions & receive 25% of the listed price per excursion Each cruise has a minimum number you must select to get the discount http://www.oceaniacruises.com/documents/New_ShoreExcursions_Packages.pdf

ShopperfiendTO Posted September 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2013 Oceania has two shore excursion packages. The excursions are the same, just what price you pay for it. One is "unlimited" and the other is "Your World". The "Your World" package gives you a 25% discount on the regular (very high) price of the shore excursion but you have to buy a set number of excursions depending on your cruise. The unlimited is a set price for the entire cruise, but isn't really unlimited for the price because you still have to pay a supplement for the higher-priced excursions. It does however make the cost of the excursions from being really really expensive to on the high side of reasonable. Here's the brochure: http://www.oceaniacruises.com/documents/New_ShoreExcursions_Packages.pdf Many cruisers who are able and willing to plan often arrange their own private excursions but that decision is really yours to make, especially in foreign lands. JMBobB Posted September 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2013 In reading the copious Oceania brochures, it is my impression that your ship maintains contact with the tours they offer on their website and guarantee not to leave if the tour is late returning. That may only pertain to Oceania Exclusive tours however. Anyone else know the answer? JMBobB
sitraveler Posted September 3, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Ship's tours will almost never leave without guests. It would take deliberate action by the passengers. Private tour operators would incur the wrath of the port and passengers and plan ahea d.

Benita Posted September 3, 2013 #10 Share Posted September 3, 2013 My Caribbean cruise has both the unlimited collection and your world listed. You need to book cruises in all 5 ports to get the 25% off for the your world program. It is six of one and half dozen of the other to pick this over the unlimited collection, as the pricing would be just about identical. Last year, they offered an internet booking discount of 15% if you booked an individual tour online instead of waiting until you were onboard. As there is only one O tour that interests me on this itinerary, that would have been nice.
