39august Posted September 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2013 I have read conflicting information regarding whether there is a designated suite beach area on Cocoa Cay as there is on Labadee. Some posts say there is and some say there is not. Can someone who has recently been there give me an answer, please? Hoping to make it as scheduled on our Sept. 15 FOS cruise, as we have never been there.
cb at sea Posted September 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2013 No...there are cabanas, but anyone can rent them. There is no "suite" area on Coco Cay. But, no matter...the entire place is super nice!
CruisinDawn Posted September 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2013 The cabana area on Coco Cay isn't a beach anyway. All of those people have to walk, um about 100 yards over to the water. If you have been to CocoCay which I assume you have :) it is the area all the way to the left once you get off the tender. It has a rock wall looking out to the ship. NOTHING like Labadee. I wouldn't pay for a cabana there but sure would again at Barefoot on Labadee. Also the Beach Party (free drinks) is over by the jet ski area so a LONG walk for Suite guest.
