Going on Paradise Sept 21 Some friends from work who went last week got both shore excursions in both ports cancelled due to bad weather. Do you think this will happen to us? Is there a chance they will go somewhere else if the weather is bad?

Weather.com is showing a 60% chance of rain for Cozumel for the 23rd, and a 60% chance of rain for Grand Cayman on the 24th. Grand Cayman stands the best chance of cancellation due to weather because it is a tender port. It is up to the captain to decide. If it's just rain, you will still likely stop at the port. If it is windy though, chances are higher that the port could be cancelled, and especially Grand Cayman. It is more likely that excursions will be affected though rather than cancelling a port of call. The type of excursion also factors in.

Hope it all works out well for you.
