What is better after cruise - Shuttle or Ship Bus Service?

Hi,

Which would be better to take back to FLL airport from Miami - book our own shuttle service or use the bus provided by the cruise line? Just wondering if one was better and more reliable than the other.

I have used SAS twice in the last 6 months and very happy with them. I call and they are there within 5 minutes. Using them again in Jan. Also cost was cheaper then the cruise bus.

Shuttle is fine and even a private vehicle in lieu of the cruise bus.

 

The answer depends partly on what time your flight is.

I see no advantage to using the cruise line transfers unless you are a single and want someone else to do the research for you. If two or more, I'd certainly do the research to book my own transfers to save money and time. You will pay a premium for the cruiseline to do the "work" for you. But as Keith said, choice will be determined on when you need to be at the airport too.

 

If you check your ship's roll call, you might be able to join or start a group doing the same transfer privately. ;)

Thank you for the replies! We have a 2:40pm flight so I think a shuttle should be ok. I have not found anyone else on CC going on this cruise since it is a theme cruise! lol
