arizonaperson Posted October 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2013 Anyone have a list of stores or restaurants at The Fort Street Tourism Village? This is where Princess & Carnival ships tender. I have seen a map, but no list of the actual stores.
Rare crewsweeper Posted October 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I haven't seen a complete list. I think there are almost 50 stores and restaurants in the Tourist Village. Cruise ships will put out a "shopping map" of their preferred stores. There's one on this website: http://www.cruiseportinsider.com/belizeonyourown.html But these aren't fully inclusive. The prices for even "local" merchandise are higher inside the T.V. than in surrounding areas. Directly across from the T.V. is a small flea market with many locals selling similar products at much lower prices. And they are friendly. The Wet Lizard is the largest restaurant/bar in the T.V. and has an annex on the dock by Terminal 2. WL serves Belkins and well drinks and is know for its conch fritters and meat pies and other Belizian and Americna fare. There are some smaller kiosk type places along the way, but I don't know the names and can't opine on the food.
