Rhapsody Relocation - We Forgot

Recommended Posts

I was listening to the news this morning and heard that the Turkish Government has capped the number of Australians and New Zealanders allowed to attend the 2015 ANZAC Commemoration when I suddenly remembered -

THE RHAPSODY HAS BEEN CHARTERED for the Gallipoli Commemoration Cruise from 18 April 2015 for 17 nights!

Darn, I thought we might finally get to keep her.

Cheers

Di

Its a good topic to bring up .

There will be a cap on numbers.

Anyone interested should check out exactly what is on offer.

I think there is a ballot for tickets and I believe cruise ships will not be allowed in Anzac Cove on the day.

I did Gallipoli 90th Anniversary celebration when we went in the night before and stayed on the grassy bank in our sleeping bags for the Dawn Service. It was zoo back then and very over-crowded. Glad I did it. So its not going to relocate up to Alaska?

Where I've seen them advertised, they do have wording saying that you don't go to the actual land ceremony.

You are all right it was some time ago that those with Nz passports had to have there names in who were interested. ..it was going to be a draw...so just a lucky few.....makes me wonder what happens to all those kids that hace been chosen out to go....from the rsl... some of the schools like ours are paying for them to go... :(
