New Year's Day in Aruba Questions

We're going to be in Aruba on New Year's Day with 8633 of our fellow cruisers:eek:!

 

First question is what will be open in Aruba on NYD?

 

Second question is how well does Aruba handle the crowd when several ships are in port? I don't normally like to do ship excursions, but if there's going to be a lot of difficulty moving around because of the crowd, I may book something through the ship.

They will only allow as many ships/passengers as they can handle....no worries about that!

Can't help with what's open on NYD....I would imagine most things will be open if they have all those ships in....means $$$ in the local's pockets!

Most things will be open.

 

Don't worry about too many crowds.

 

There will be two other ships in port (two princess ships) but that is par for the course.

Most stores will be closed...National Holiday ;) Lots of party the night before...

 

Everything else will carry on as normal. :)
