I am really excited to go on my cruise in 28 days(but whos counting :D ) I have only been to key west 1 time, and didnt know what there was to do there??? I also was trying to see who was going to be on the Grandeur of the Seas on Dec 6

Go to the Roll Calls (on this board) and find your ship and sail date....you can chat with others on your sailing!

 

We just sort of wander KW....it's not really a 'beach' stop....for us, it's a lunch stop with drinks, and maybe a bit of shopping!

There are some great museums in KW too. All in all KW is a giant tourist trap; great place to walk around for a while, but not a lot to "do"

I visited Hemmingway's house when I was there.

 

It is easy to walk around Key West and see things. Also, people watching there is awesome!

oooohhhhh a definite favorite. I love them, they also have key lime BBQ sauce that sounds weird but is very good. I ordered more when I ran out.

I like the Conch Train and also get your picture taken at the closest point to Cuba statue. I really like Key West, not to overwhelming but good food and shopping. Ripley's is cool if you have not been there before, Hemmingway's house is interesting.

We went para sailing and then DD and BF rented a scooter for a few hours while the rest of us walked around. There is a great Marini bar too, right on the main street.

Are you driving to the port? There are two of us taking Amtrak from Lynchburg. :D

Speaking of Key Lime pie, get a slice. There are lots of great places to get some. But I think we went the the Key Lime Pie Factory.

Go to Sloppy Joes. It's just one of those places you need to say you've been to.

Original Margaritaville is on Duval St.

If you're there late enough, go and celebrate the sunset at Mallory Square Dock. It's a nightly event and lots of fun.

Lots of sights to see (Hemingway's house is a good example).

Wander the shops.

Conch Fritters. You'll find them around.

Have a great time. I love Key West. Would love to retire there.
