stacyrk99 Posted November 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Will be cruising from Seattle to Alaska in July and I am only a 4 hour drive from Seattle so I wasn't planning on flying. I have read that it is about $150 to park at the Port of Seattle for the week. Does anyone know of hotels close to downtown Seattle that allows you to park there for the week if you stay a night before the cruise? It would cost us only about $100 more to fly than to drive and park at the pier so that might be worth it if we need to. It's an hour nonstop flight home but was hoping to save some money if I could find a hotel that would let us leave the car there.
Rare 1025cruise Posted November 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2013 You might find a park and cruise by the airport, but not downtown.

stacyrk99 Posted November 12, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted November 12, 2013 We would get a ride to our airport since it's only about 2 miles from our house. We wouldn't have to pay for parking at all if we flew. And also wouldn't have to drive the 4 hours home. It's starting to look like flying may just be easier than driving. mapleleaves Posted November 12, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Which pier are you sailing from? Pier 91 has a cheaper option than the Port parking lot ... google Smith Cove parking. Basically Seattle parking is very pricey. Even if you fly to SeaTac, you still need to get to the pier, which means another $45-50 for a taxi. And if you do a park and fly hotel, you still need to get to the pier.
