Just asking the seasoned cruisers on here what their opinion is on "S" suites becoming available near or after final payment is due? We were booked in the PS but as we are now doing the 18 day Hawaiian Cruise in one we have now cancelled our PS for an upcoming 7 day Caribbean.

Just can't justify it! Should I just keep checking daily:confused:

Ye.... keep checking.

If you have a TA, have them call to see if you can go on a wait list.

There are sometimes last minute cancellations.

Which class of ship? Clearly the more Neptune Cabins, the better chance of a cancellation. You say "S" cabin so I am assuming "S or R" class ship but you may have meant, SA, SB or SC.

Are you saying there are none available now, prior to final payment? If so, there is always a chance someone won't make final payment. How big a chance is known only to HAL.

If it is after final payment, there is a pretty good they will be filled by upgrades if nobody takes an upsell.

We are sailing on the 1/27/14 Noordam cruise and the Neptune Suites have been sold out for months. Final payment was 11/13/13 and two days later, three became available. Keep checking and good luck!!

There are often people who hold a cabin for a long time and then release it at time of final payment. They likely decided long ago to not cruise but didn't get around to cancelling their booking. Of course, there are some who decided at the last moment when final payment was due.
