Electricity on the Silhouette

Expanding on what cruisestitch said. Almost all cruise ships any of us are likely to sail on [including Silhouette] have both European [CEE7] sockets at a nominal 220/234v AND US sockets at a nominal 110/117v. On Celebrity both of these have a frequency of approximately 60Hz, but the frequency control is not nearly up to land based standards. [The US operates on 60Hz, most of Europe on 50Hz. For heating elements this is of no consequence. I stopped taking a plug in clock as it would gain or lose up to 10 minutes a day due to poor frequency control.]
