Leaving for our cruise in 4 hours..do the cabins still give samples of soap and shampoo?? It's been a few years since our last cruise and don't know i need to stop at the store..

No they don't. And even if they do, what they give isn't consistent.

The showers have the shampoo and body wash dispensers on the wall and they do provide soap and other amenities by the sink. In addition, if those run out you can always nip to the gift shop for other necessities.

I like their shampoo & body wash from the dispensers in the shower. You have to use a lot more of it than regular stuff from the store, but it's free, so it's no big deal to use more. The steward will refill the dispensers when they get low, and they'll have extra soaps if you use those up. No need to make a stop, unless you need conditioner or other toiletries. Enjoy your cruise!

They are indispensers in the shower and their are bars of soap for the sink. If you need more the steward will refill.

I've noticed that Carnival has switched out their old pleasantly-scented green bar soap

for a plain-Vanilla white soap of no particular scent worthy of mention.

 

No doubt another cost-cutting measure..
