USS Missouri

Will be in Oahu in February off the Star. We visited Pearl Harbor previously but did not have time to visit the USS Missouri. Any suggestions on how to get there or to plan a tour just to that site, not the entire Pearl Harbor tour? Thanks in advance for any help!

A little reading on the board would reveal you can taxi over, or take TheBus. Very easy.

 

Do an internet search and see the tours they offer. The higher priced, full tilt behind the scenes tour is awesome. The Missouri is accessed thru the "front door" at the Memorial. You can't go direct there on your own.

I'd grab a cab at the pier. If you didn't get a chance to see the Bowfin on your last trip it's worth seeing as well.

Thanks everyone. We definitely want to see the Missouri as well as the Bowfin. I guess my question was to confirm that we need to get to Pearl Harbor first before we can get over to the Missouri.

We needed to buy tix to be able to get on the Missouri and that included a bus ride from the main area to the Missouri. I think you can buy tix to enter the ship there too and not at the main area.

I don't believe you can get on the bus without a wrist band. So you may have to buy at least something at the main entrance.
