Does anyone know the depth of the pool on deck 13 of QM2? I have hip exercises and walking laps that I would like to do on our Jan 3 TA to keep my hip limber.

There are a number of pools on each ship, details are below:

Queen Mary 2

Minnows Pool - Outside on Deck 6.

5.5m width, 8m length, 1.3m to 1m depth.

Heated to 29°C.

Canyon Ranch Spa Pool - Indoor Pool on Deck 7.

5m width, 6m length, 1.5m depth.

Heated to 34°C.

Charges apply for use of the Spa.

Terrace Pool - Outside on Deck 8.

5.5m width, 8.5m length, 1.62m to 1.4m depth.

Heated to 28°C.

Pavilion Pool - Outdoor pool with retractable roof on Deck 12.

4.8m width, 7.5m length, 1.62m to 1.38m depth.

Heated to 30°C.

Splash Pool - Outside on Deck 13.

4.8 width, 7.5m length, 0.16m depth.

Heated to 28°C to 30°C.

Yes, that splash pool on Deck 13 is hardly a pool at all . Can get your feet wet at best. Deck 13 on the QM2 is where it appears Carnival Corp ran out of money or ideas to put things ;) Lots of empty deck space with a bar & snack bar that are hardly ever open it seems to me.

It's always too windy to use deck 13

And during transatlantic crossing the bar is never open

I still don't understand that wading pool.

Deck 12 Pool is deep enough for swimming, 5' I think.

I am actually not interested in swimming. I need to walk laps for my hip. Being 5'3", I don't want the pool too deep. Chest height is perfect. With it being January, my two choices will be the spa or deck 12.It sounds like the depth of deck 12 is a bit better for me. And, it would be great to watch the ocean while doing this.

Indeed! Thought it was the daftest thing I've ever seen tbh, complete & utter waste of space.

Fewer people seem to use the lower, aft pool - which on our trip in April had no children around it. That was ok for a quick swim.
