Rare Copper10-8 Posted December 22, 2013 #352 Share Posted December 22, 2013 Sadly lack of funds. I need to get a better paid job before I can do that one or else I save and go through cruise withdrawal for quite some time. Nice toots! Understandable! Merry Christmas! lka1012 Posted December 22, 2013 #353 Share Posted December 22, 2013 Good ending to a good tooting day. Leaving at dawn-thirty tomorrow to see sis for holidays. Probably won't be back until next Sunday. And a Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Night.
Rare kazu Posted December 22, 2013 #354 Share Posted December 22, 2013 She's a pleasure to sail - she just glides through the water so smoothly. There she goes - three toots ;) She's far more tooting in Europe - when we circled Fuerteventura she tooted the whole way for the island who was out cheering her (no one goes there). It was an experience I will never forget - Love this ship ;)

Rare Scrapnana Posted December 22, 2013 #357 Share Posted December 22, 2013 She has nice lines. She does not look dated like many other ships her age.

Rare erewhon Posted December 22, 2013 #363 Share Posted December 22, 2013 Not this year. We did BBQ for the new year at the millennium. We had a round the world safari supper in our neighbourhood and we did Australia. Did someone do New Zealand?

Mumsysailor Posted December 22, 2013 #365 Share Posted December 22, 2013 Spooky. On the TV Sting is singing "when the last ship sails" as the Prinsendam leaves port. (Dicounting cargo ships).

Mumsysailor Posted December 22, 2013 #373 Share Posted December 22, 2013 Did someone do New Zealand? Sorry no. If I remember rightly we had Australia, USA, Ireland and Mexico after picking names out of a hat.
Rare kazu Posted December 22, 2013 #374 Share Posted December 22, 2013 My favourite ship in the fleet and truly the most elegant in my humble opinion. That's it for me as Master Marley thinks he deserves attention. He did well, so I can't complain. Thanks Chief for the thread, Lou and Dave for the webcam and everyone for a great thread. May I take this opportunity to wish you all the best of the Holiday Season - whether you celebrate a Merry Christmas or a Merry Whatever - I hope it is a good one. Happy New Year all :)
