For anyone recently on the IOS, do you recall what the earliest and latest flight times out of FLL that qualified for Luggage Valet?

When we were on the Indy in November they were not offering the valet luggage service. Was told they would sometime in the future.

We got off the Indy on Dec 7th and there was no luggage valet. We were told it was discontinued. Debarkation was pretty slow.

Wow.. discontinued? That stinks.

 

Is that for all ships in Ft. Lauderdale, or just IOS, does anyone know?

They offered it on the Oasis last January but not for flights to Canada. We had booked it but found out at embarkation that it wasn't valid for us for some odd reason.

Contacted Crown and Anchor today. They say Luggage Valet is still available on the IOTS. Anyone used this service recently?

Just off IOS december 15, was told no luggage valet. Have used it in the past on IOS hope they bring it back, well worth $.

For those who asked and were told this program was not available on IOS, I suggest you contact Adam's office and advise what you were told. Last Jan. neither concierge Raj nor Guest Services personel were aware that luggage valet is complimentary for suite pax. Upon returning home, I e-mailed Adam's office only to advise that some training was needed about luggage valet on Indy. I was contacted about a week later and had an informative and interesting discussion with one of the reps. She had personally spoken with the GS manager about this and verified that GS personnel were not aware of this, so indeed training was needed. So perhaps the staff just is not aware of how to handle luggage valet. I suspect that is the case since C&A indicates this is available on Indy.

Only available for Americans travelling within the US.

Sadly, not available to people travelling to other countries! - Not sure why, it is only a luggage to airport service.

I have been looking for travel valet from ship to home city - had it on Celebrity on cruise a few yrs ago - loved it!
