Anywhere in Miami to store luggage for day?

We are in quite the predicament! We are coming back from our cruise Feb 8 and have few flight options. We do not feel comfortable doing the 11 am flight and our only other options are late at night around 9 pm. We may be able to stay an extra night in Miami but it is not 100% so we are looking for a plan B.

Is there anywhere we can drop our luggage or carry ons to store them for the day? We will most likely use carnivals luggage express if it is an option on our sailing but if not we would like somewhere safe to store it.

We are looking to do a tour for a couple hours during the day but dont want to lug it around the rest of the time when we are in South Beach.

If you are doing a private tour the driver will put your bags in the trunk

2) there is baggage storage at the airport for a fee then take the bus or train back to South Beach or Miami Bayside area

3) get a hotel day room at the beach & relax

thank you! i didnt know the airport did that.... we are going to go ahead and risk the 11 am flight... we shall see how this goes :/

Carry your bags off the ship and jump into a cab ASAP -- and pray that the TSA lines at MIA are just their normal chaos and not the extreme chaos I experienced last month!

We did a longer tour direct from the ship to the Everglades and this ended by dropping off passengers with our luggage ( which had been stored on the coach) at the Airport at about 5 pm . We then had a leisurely meal in the Airport Restaurant prior to our overnight flight.

On our last cruise we were off the ship in group 1 and were outside at the cab stand by 0800. We were a party of 9 and grabbed 2 cabs. Everyone arrived at 0830 plenty of time to check-in and have something to eat prior to our 1050 departure.

On side note, I would never book an 1100 departure out of FLL thinking I would get there on time.
