Hair dryers in Staterooms?

I apologize if this has been asked before, but wondering if there are hair dryers in the staterooms? We are on Serenade of the Seas, leaving in less than a week.

Yes, all staterooms have hair dryers. They are more than adequate .

The hair dryers are the kind that require the button to be pressed constantly to stay on.

Crystal Gail, Lady Godiva, and others with super long hair might disagree ;) But your right, quite adequate for most people. People with arthritic hands might find the hold down button annoying.

The hairdryers are at the desk, not in the bathroom -- at least on the RCI ship's I've been on. Check the top right or top left drawer.

My hair would dry faster if I just blew on it, rather than using those awful dryers... I just bring my handy fold-up travel dryer.

Honestly for me, the hair dryer RCI has blows! Haha I have medium hair length and my hair is rather thick but after our first cruise I make room for my own blow dryer even if I have to leave a pair of shoes behind! And ya know us women love our shoes!

Bring a rubber band, or a hair rubber band and place it on the "ON" switch and it will keep the dryer going till you take it off when done.

No more sore fingers.

I have thick shoulder length hair, and the dryer worked fine for me on all the RCI ships we have sailed, it might have taken 3-4 more minutes, but saved packing space for me:D (Mariner, Freedom and Allure).

I just bring my normal dryer.....the one on the ship gets hot, but doesn't blow hard enough to give you the "blow dry" look....
