I have been on the Constellation (sister ship of Summit) once and Century

3 times. I will be on Summit in October though.

The physical part~Century is 70,000 tons....she is a C-Class Ship.

Summit is M-Class. Closer to the 91,000 ton range.

Both are lovely in my opinion. Century doesn't have a "Specialty Restaurant"

but the Grand is outstanding (name of the regular dining room).

No Aqua Spa cafe on Century.

Century is smaller. Summit probably has more bells and whistles.

But Century will always be my favorite ship:) she has a wonderful warm,

welcoming feeling.

April 2006 Century is being "dolled up".....drydocked for a major overhaul

Lots of things are being added......there was a long thread about it on here

somewhere. A new Speciality Restaurant, many new balconies, etc.

We've been on Constellation (sister ship of Summit), Zenith, Horizon and Century. While Constellation and that class of ships are newer and have more bells and whistles, our favorite ship was Century. It had a much more intimate feel than Constellation. You truly got to know guests and crew members. Due to the size of Constellation and the number of guests you did not get to know people as well. The only things I missed on Century were the specialty restaurant (we really enjoyed that on Constellation) and the T-Pool which was bigger on Constellation. You can't go wrong with either, but we are partial to Century.
