Are There Any Resorts With Day Passes?

Wyndham is no longer in existence, it's now a condo resort (Sugar Bay Resort).

No all-inclusives on STT really. But for the exclusive resort experience you're looking for you'll want to look at the Ritz Carlton.

For something a little cheaper look at the Best Western Emerald Beach Plus Resort in Lindbergh Bay. Some folks have had problems with the food there but others like it there. You can rent a room for the day if you want a shower and changing room.

You can also look at the Bolongo Bay Resort to see what they offer, if anything.

Since Sapphire is currently not an option, our choice would be the Secret Harbor condo resort (close to the Ritz) where you have access to chair rentals and a restaurant.

Sugar Bay is still a hotel. They just do not carry the Wyndham brand any longer.

Just as an aside...many cruise passengers are accustomed to stops with huge all-inclusive resorts that encourage day use of their facilities. St Thomas is not such a stop. There are only a handful of hotels- the Marriott, Sugar Bay and the hotels on Lindbergh Bay to name some. Most of the development in the 80s was condominium-style and many of the condominium owners really are not crazy about day visitors. Even the hotels do not go for AI the way that other destinations do. Either take a picnic to one of the less developed beaches, enjoy Magens or go to one of the hotels that do encourage visitors (Emerald Beach, Island Beachcomber, Bolongo Bay, Morning Star).

Technically yes but certainly not up the standards they held before and I would not steer anyone there. But GTO-girl look at the reviews and see if this property interests you. The AI option is recommended here.

STT is not a typical AI destination and condo and villa rentals are the most popular choices here. Condos occupy two of the nicest beaches (Sapphire & Secret Harbor) and renting through the owner via VRBO.com or another site is the most popular for most return visitors.
