Booking Princess Air

Has anyone booked their air through Princess ? They're quoting us $1200 pp. better than I found on Expedia. We always spend a few days pre cruise but might have to fly in the day of the cruise this time. Hoping someone could shed some light on their experience of going with Princess' air dept.

We used them last year for our Alaska cruise. Princess were having a great sale at the time £250ea off advertised prices. We flew in 3 days early to see Vancouver and back a day later to see Anchorage. We booked flexible flights so we could change or cancel without penalty up to 45 days before ??? The price was locked in when we booked it.

Come over to the Cruise Air board, and read many threads about the pluses and minus of cruise line airfares, aka "consolidator airfares".

Two different traveling companions for two different cruises have booked through Princess at a great savings and were able to book the same flights that we had booked (using our FF points). No problems at all and they were very pleased with the cost compared to booking direct with the airline.
