Daghis Posted January 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Giovanni's (Italian) I didn't think Freedom of the Seas had Giovanni's Table. I thought that she still had Portofino (also Italian).

I know it was planned to change Portofino to Giovanni's I was taking a wild guess that it had occured already. It's still Italian though.....:)
reallyitsmema Posted January 20, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 20, 2014 It does. It will probably be changed her next drydock. It is scheduled to be changed out according to the executive chef of the Freedom. We went to the pasta demo and luncheon in Portofino on our cruise in August and the executive chef spoke to the group prior to the demo. He said that Giovanni's has proven to be so popular that they will be replacing all Portofinos. He said Chops is going no where, it is still very popular and as long as the ships are still sailing with a lot of Americans, there will be a Chops.
