At the conclusion of the 2015 season, Celebrity Century will be leaving the fleet. To celebrate, Celebrity Cruises is proud to announce the ‘Celebration of the Century.’ During Celebrity Century’s farewell 2014-2015 season, we’ll be hosting special programming, including a newly introduced “President's 'Celebration of the Century' Cruise” in Asia.

 

From March 2014 through April 2015, ‪#‎CelebrityCentury‬ will visit 77 ports across 32 countries, the most destinations worldwide of any other ship in the Celebrity fleet.

It is sad but not a shock ,it was our first X cruise in 2002.

We are booked on its next to last cruise, from Singapore to Dubai. Have a sunset veranda cabin.

 

I hope its final days with X will maintain X consistent great food, service and entertainment.

We had 2 wonderful cruises on Century - we were on the ship when they started the martini ice bar. I will always have fond memories of her.:)

 

I would love to see Celebrity build a new ship in the size of the Century.

 

We sailed the Zenith twice when she was new and we miss her too.

 

Let's hope Celebrity doesn't get rid of any more ships.

Apparently the Century will be joining the Zenith at CDF Croisieres de France--learn French and you can still sail on them both!

Our first Celebrity cruise (which also was our first B2B) was on the Century. Century is the reason we fell in love with Celebrity.

 

I would love to see a Century II - same size, of course.

To celebrate the farewell season of Celebrity Century, the ship will host special events, including a newly introduced “President's 'Celebration of the Century' Cruise,” during a year featuring a record number of ports of call and 17 new cruise destinations for the brand. The farewell season will also feature exclusive onboard programming and special offers for guests. Celebrity Century will leave the fleet in April 2015.

By process of elimination: INFINITY.

Connie is earmarked for Europe again in 2015, Summit is slated for Bermuda and Millie is coming back from Asia to Vancouver spring 2015.

 

Unless....they slot Infy into Solly's slot in Seattle and move Solly to Vancouver....stay tuned for the upcoming scheduled deployments...

Thank you C-legs, I'm sad that I waited so long and will not have the opportunity to sail on the Century. I liked the size of the ship, especially for an Alaskan cruise. Unless I can entice my husband to take another cruise this year...:)
