Radiance Hawaii to Sydney

Recommended Posts

Just noticed a great deal for a balcony cabin on Radiance from Hawaii to Sydney, 18 nights, departing 10 April 2013…… D1 around $5500 (2 passengers), E1 around $5300 (2 passengers) …. I think there was even inside cabins for under $2550 for 2 people.

This equates to $152 per night per person…. or for an inside $71 per night person. I wish I could get leave and book this!!!

Does that price include a ticket on the time traveler?

I think you will find its the repositioning cruise from Sydney to Hawaii in April 2014.

Repo cruises are good value ,and tend to have a lot of sea days.

Sea days are very popular with some cruisers, but we have friends who are very active, and they did one from Hawaii to Sydney and were bored out of their brain......

in fact , they were so bored ,

they had to go the library

and read a book.:D

if you can get the cruise for that price grab it because on the RCI site an inside for 2 is over $8500 and a balcony is $11230 for 2

Date and route wrong in the original post. Pretty important details to get right when planning.

We did this exact cruise on Radiance a few months ago & we had a deck 10 balcony cabin & paid originally about $7000 but managed to take advantage of a price drop before final payment & saved $1200.

This cruise was great, we were never bored, we are active & in our forties, use the gym etc & I never found time to even finish the book I took with me.

I think it's nice to have sea days to spend some relaxing time & doing some things we never do at home like learning to play the board game Othello, table tennis, going to the movies, enjoying the solarium pool etc.

Loads more to do on sea days including trivia, organised sports events, mini golf, rock climbing, bingo, lectures, dance classes, casino if you gamble, pool deck activities/competitions to join in or just watch, cooking demos, back stage tour, day spa, gym classes & lectures, scavenger hunts.

The longest consecutive sea days you have are 5 days between Honolulu & Tahiti.

Good one! I say to people when they say "what do you do", that I just don't get time to do everything I plan to. I even cracked open a highlighter last cruise and marked several things on the compass. Did NONE of those things. Just too busy talking and relaxing. :) I would like to actually finish a book on a cruise. I read a lot normally, but the days just disappear on the ship. :D

I agree. It's hard to explain how busy you can be doing "nothing" LOL!:)

Glad you clarified that. Thought we were going relive our cruise all over again:D

Bored ? That's a dirty word. How can anyone possibly be totally bored on such a great cruise. We had a blast and then spent a week in Hawaii.

I'm going on the cruise. It's radiance of the seas Sydney to Honolulu via NZ and Tahiti. It leaves on 10 April 2014 and gets into Honolulu on 27 April. I Got an inside cabin with gratuities for $2000. That's $117 per day. So it's working out as good value for money.

And yes. I can do nothing very easily :)

No I am traveling with a a friend. We could of got it around $200 cheaper if our TA had of acted when we asked him to :). Last time I checked the twin occupancy was still around $2000 for an inside cabin including gratuities. Though that was on deck 2 :)
