Cost of call from cabin?

Can anyone tell me the current cost per minute to call from your cabin? On the website it says 7.95 a minute, just checking to see if that's accurate still. Thanks

That is correct for ship to shore calls.

Higher level C&A does get a discount coupon.

$7.95, however, it can be $2 per minute with the D "Value Booklet."

Of course that is ship to shore. It is (still) free cabin to cabin.

Wow. Cell phone (with AT&T) is $2.50 per minute, without any kind of calling plan. Not sure why anyone would pay the RCCL rate.

AT&T cell phone can use the ship's cell tower at sea and the cost would be $2.50 per minute, without any plan.

If you mean data roaming, yes those charges are not included in the $2.50 per minute and would be significant.

 

I assumed the poster was comparing prices to the stateroom phone, which would imply voice only, no data or text. That would be $2.50 per minute using the ship's cell tower, regardless of the ship's location.
