Have no idea how pre-selections were determined. Our Reservations are not part of a large group but are booked through TA. It probably has nothing to do with status because we are only one up from the bottom. We just found out by calling our TA to try and get a dining guide as suggested by the RCCL email announcing the dining experience and that's what we were told. So I guess as far as the info that I have is applicable to the January 11 sailing. But earlier sailings must be doing this also.

Brian, what a great chart. Thanks so much for sharing it. My only question is about JR's. On the RCCL website it states that it's ala carte. I hope it's a mistake but you never know. I hope they include breakfast at JR's too.

I really don't understand why they would make a burger joint ala carte when it's just a surcharge on all their other ships. Hmmm, I bet it'll be ala carte on their other ships in the future. I mean really RCCL. JR's went from free to surcharge and now ala carte?? Not a problem for us as we don't usually eat there anyway but could be expensive for people with a few children.

I hope things change. I mean it's a burger joint!! LOL. Celebrity had the best fresh cooked burgers and fries on the deck above their pool on the Silly and they were all free. Honestly, they were the best we ever had on a cruise.

I was thinking that maybe they put a la carte because you can pay extra for an extra pattie on the burger?

I'm a little confused.....how could you not get your first choice for dining if you were one of the first people to reserve your spot? May I ask which times you were looking for? I can see things being hairy for people reserving in May!

I just downloaded tapatalk and now when I post it uses this name and it appears that I'm new. ???? If I post from the normal way I'm still the old Beachbuddy. I don't know if it's something I can fix or not. LOL. I WISH I COULD JUST BE MY OLD SELF ON BOTH. LOL

Maybe Host Kat on the help forum can help you get back to being your old self again :D

I love tapatalk...I just have to remember to turn my phone to silent when I go bed or I wouldn't get any sleep when posts are posted.

I agree on breakfast at JR's.

Char, yes I think so because when I downloaded it, it asked me if I wanted to sign in with FB.

I wonder if I should delete it and re-download it.

Thanks for the chart - it is very helpful.

I am a fan of a served breakfast and usually go to the MDR most mornings. Am I correct that the only served breakfast option appears to be the American Grill? Juding for what I am reading about the size, how they will accommodate all those who want a served breakfast? Am I missing something.

I will likly have access to a CL. Will full breakfast be served there?
