Casino Comp Chick Posted October 26, 2015 #5476 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Lol, wow. Wow what? I spend all my time in the casino, if I can't smoke in it then I will never go to it. Not to hard to understand.
FreestyleNovice Posted October 26, 2015 Author #5477 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Guppies Program/Nursery (For 6months and to 2 or 3 years; the baby program) I see some people have gotten info here. Lot to go through in this thread. Thank you EVERYONE that is taking their time to share photos and info. See Instagram LM. :)

No slots in there I think. :)

FreestyleNovice Posted October 26, 2015 Author #5480 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Has NCL made any comment on the fact that the Escape Casino is non-smoking? Could it just be that they made it the policy for these early cruises to prevent a bad first impression? If it was just the daily I would share your point of view but it's programmed in the slots machines displays as a service announcement (in the roll of flasy things that go on on such a display) and permanent in the top of that same screen. Might take a pic later, have to be there as the souvenir shop was a madhouse earlier today hehe.
Rare LMaxwell Posted October 26, 2015 #5481 Share Posted October 26, 2015 See Instagram LM. :) Thank you so much! A bit disappointed to see there is a daytime rate AND higher nighttime rate. We will have to budget appropriately so we can have one kid free night out, or else keep ankle biter with us. It would seem that the open play times would not be charged if a parent is present. carnival currently charges $6.75 + 15% for babysitting. So $12 an hour for night time is a little stiff. I enjoy cigars from time to time (as my question earlier about the Humidor at Tobacco Row may show :P), but I'm definitely pretty impressed that the whole casino aside from the VIP room will be smoke-free. I guess NCL weighed their options and figured that a smoke filled casino in the middle of the ship was going to be less and less popular with their main audience (families) as fewer and fewer people partake in the habit. I checked back through the past few pages, but didn't see anything. Any chance of a pic of the menu/drink options at Tobacco row? I'm curious if they have a more diverse dark liquor collection there. FreestyleNovice Posted October 26, 2015 Author #5484 Share Posted October 26, 2015 The requests: 15844 and14198 seem to have the door on the left side of the shared entrance in the hallway so that would be bathroom on the left and I guess bed by the door? 11710, our balcony room, has also the left door and ditto setup if I go by that. 12700, haven't got to see an fwd facing oceanview. I booked 11700 but got an unasked upgrade to a balcony heh. It's on my list, maybe with disembarkation I can get a pic! Or two, three. :) Haven to pool deck on 16 will follow here, it's an anonymous door! Supperclub was closed, been in it but was too dark for pics. I even did not notice the tables (all black furniture) set up behind the U shaped seats. 3rd rang? ;) Ropes regulations have been posted. Balcony bathroom pics will follow when we get home, nothing special for Instagram imho. ;) I think I covered it all?

bucade Posted October 26, 2015 #5488 Share Posted October 26, 2015 I was just wondering if you could take a pic of the dinner menu for the MDR? Having never been on a NCL cruise before, we just wanted to know a little of what to expect. Thanks!:o

Maddysdaddy Posted October 26, 2015 #5496 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Hi Maddysdaddy ... I spoke with my son and it's as I thought... There is definitely adult language in the show in several places... It's a great show but I understand where you are coming from about your daughter... She might be a little too young for this one. Thank you for checking - very much appreciated! We may need to tell the munchkin that she will have to suck it up and go to the kids club for a couple of hours one evening. helen haywood Posted October 26, 2015 #5497 Share Posted October 26, 2015 From a link here to some cabin pictures it appears that the B6 cabins no longer have the large balcony like the Away ships. Am I correct?

There were only a few specialty drinks listed. I will get back to you shortly. EDIT: Sorry Freestyle, I quoted the wrong post. legion3 Posted October 26, 2015 #5500 Share Posted October 26, 2015 From a link here to some cabin pictures it appears that the B6 cabins no longer have the large balcony like the Away ships. Am I correct? Well its larger but from the angle it certainly looks not as large, mostly because the regular balconies are larger. The M6 balconies look more exposed than the Away - due to the wider beam of the ship?
