Radio.....your pictures are, as always, stunning! I love the pic of the Freedom Tower. And the ship is soooooooo much more attractive than the Pride! Reminds me of Las Vegas--and I liked LV:D

Loving your pictures! Sitting here with my 3 year old who wants to go back to our room, ride the glass elevators and have breakfast with Cat in the Hat. Really makes us want to go back sooner than October!

She is a beautiful ship. Can't wait to board for our repositioning cruise in November. For the few Carnival ships I've been on, she seems to be the most beautiful one.

I also wondered at that picture…got me excited! We've been on almost all classes of Carnival ships but have never seen that! Looks neat:) Off to look at deck plans for the Splendor:)

The adult only is aft deck 9 outside with a pool and two hot tubs. Inside is another pool with two larger hot tubs , big screen, tables, bar and ping pong

Hello everyone, Good Morning. . .Welcome to DAY 3 of “LIVE” from Carnival Splendor !I had a great dinner last night in the Black Pearl Dining room (Formal Night). I can’t tell you how much I missed consuming warm chocolate melting cake. I don’t know what it is about that dessert, but I could have it every single night of the cruise.

 

I went to the Fiesta Latina show last night and the Carnival Splendor Singers and Dancers were wonderful. The production value was spectacular. This production show is only held on one night so I would attend if you have time. The Royal Flush Casino, however, has not been very “Radio Friendly.” I still have 5 days left, so I will try it out a few more times to see if things get any better.

 

This afternoon there is a “Seuss-a-Palooza” Parade, story time and movie. The parade will begin in El Morocco Lounge (Deck 5 AFT). At 3PM there will be Seuss story time in the Spectacular Theater on Deck 3, and at 5:30 a full length feature film (The Cat in the Hat) will be broadcast at the Seaside Theater on Deck 9. Your Intrepid Reporter will be present to capture the theme of the event.

 

The forecast for today is sunny skies with warm temps (72F). The seas are still smooth with nominal waves. Carnival Splendor has been sailing through these seas with minimal pitch and roll. I don’t see a cloud in the sky and I am sure the covered pool area will be open today and the Carnival Twister slide, Thunderball pool and the Aft adult only pool will be packed today.

Radio, thanks for checking in. Great pictures! For anyone else who needs to know, there is a flip on the captions! :eek: Tandoor at the Liner pool is the lst picture-this is where the adults only area is with the pool and hot tubs. The deli is on the port side (Tandoor on starboard) Lido buffet is the 2nd picture! The hot tubs on deck 10 which someone was asking about overlook the "main" Splendido Lido pool with the retractable roof and big screen (and pizza and the grill! :D ) Have an absolutely AMAZING day, Radio! So much fun to come along with you! :p
