Types of outlets?

Have I been reading the boards properly? Do the HAL ships have both the standard North American plug outlets and the two pronged round ones like we used in Iceland?

 

So if I brought my adaptors from last year (not converters), would I get twice as many outlets? Just curious.

The ships do have a standard North American plug and a standard European plug. If Iceland uses the European plug, you are in luck. The plugs are close together, so if your adapter is large, you may not be able to use the adjacent ones at the same time.

Awesome. I think we have the standard European adaptors. They're tiny, just fit on the end of conventional plugs.

If you have something plugged into the European outlet when you leave the cabin, check that it's still plugged in when you return. The stewards use that outlet for the vacuum cleaner, and sometimes they forget to plug your device back in.

More than once I've been all settling down to sleep, only to discover that my CPAP has been unplugged. :(

There is a dual outlet at the desk and a European one behind the TV for the DVD player. Unplug that and you get another outlet, provided you bring two adapters.
