Looking out our Seattle hotel room window, just had the first sighting of the Jewel in the harbor! She'll be docking shortly!

Just checked the bow cam, She is making the turn heading for the "E" behind the Edgewater Hotel. Save film for coming in next Saturday. To the south will be Mount Rainier. When the sun comes over Mt Rainier, She will look like a huge Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae. Have a wonderful cruise.

We'll be on the Jewel in a short 2 weeks enjoying the Haven!

I can tell you Virginia is the current concierge but is leaving on the 31st replaced by Bruno.

And the one we've all been waiting for...

 

New Signage at Cagney's / Moderno

 

The Cagneys lunch menu remains the same. Tables for Moderno/suites breakfast and lunch are spread throughout old Cagneys annex and star bar (door/wall between them gone). Bar itself still there, in enlarged dining room and will be called mojito bar. Picture coming soon, too many people in here.

They incorporated the old hallway that went past the casino into the casino, enlarging it (according to a staff member there). I always get this mixed up ftom ship to ship but I'm pretty sure there used to be a bypass hallway here.

A million thanks to Triptolemus for posting my pics!!!!! Initial thoughts: a LOT of orange. Orange orange more orange and earth tones. Major changes for old Star Bar / new Moderno. Hallway that bypassed the casino is gone. O'Sheehans not that impressive to me, no pool tables, etc but has nice daily dinner specials. Better beer!! Battery dying so will post more when I can. Ship is crowded with boarding passengers, more pics to come tomorrow!
