Rare A&L_Ont Posted March 8, 2015 #401 Share Posted March 8, 2015 Yep, the yellow one is described as a champagne glass, but it works more like a toilet bowl I'll bet What way would it swirl if it south of the equator? :D

Lloyd555 Posted March 16, 2015 Author #411 Share Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) Harmony's wave breaker sections being shipped to STX France. Sections of Harmony's two AquaTheater diving platforms being constructed and to be delivered from the same company on March 26. OfTheSeasCruiser Posted March 16, 2015 #413 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Nice find! I was hoping that they'd incorporate all 4 of the DD restaurants, if not some more new ones, but oh well. Also see the Bionic Bar is replacing Champagne Bar... Interesting... :)

Elizanessie Posted March 17, 2015 #419 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Was it cheaper than solo in a normal inside. No dbl points, right It was the cheapest solo cabin there is/was...the SIs are all sold on the TA now I think. No double points but I am not bothered about that. MADflyer Posted March 17, 2015 #420 Share Posted March 17, 2015 The 12 Studio Outsides, SO, are together with the 3 SI cabins on deck 4. While only SI and SB are currently defined in C&A terms as the only categories not getting the solo bonus point, I would imagine that will be updated. Terms and Conditions All other rates including Travel Agent rates, as well category SI and SB, are excluded from single price type extra point promotion. Cruisetours are included as an additional night per each day on the cruise tour. The SB's on Quantum have been changed to SD's from June and have not been added either. MADflyer Posted March 20, 2015 #423 Share Posted March 20, 2015 I was just curious if anyone knows who is manufacturing the prefabricated cabins for Harmony? I was not sure how the Meyer deal with STX Finland last year affected this supplier. STX Finland Cabins was the largest supplier and then Meyer references EMS Pre Cab for their projects. I had understood that these were both separate companies from the actual shipyard. I just noticed that both of these companies websites are down and wondered if they have formed a venture under another name. I noticed that ALMACO that got the contract for the Navigator deck 12 and other new cabins has the contract for the provision stores and refrigeration on Harmony, but there is no mention of them getting the cabin contract. They were also not mentioned as building the Freedom or Explorer cabins.

It seems that STX France has transferred their operations to a new/bigger factory to build its cabins: http://france3-regions.francetvinfo.fr/pays-de-la-loire/2015/02/06/saint-nazaire-stx-france-inaugure-son-nouveau-site-de-production-de-cabines-650169.html Edited March 20, 2015 by Lloyd555

I am unsure if STX France had their own cabin factory previously and knew that STX Finland was certainly the market leader. It is unclear if they kept that division or were able to develop their own using the technology with the split.
