Carnival Wish List

I searched for an existing similar topic, but couldn't find one. Anyhoo....I was thinking about things that would make my cruise experience better and thought I'd reopen a topic for others to make requests/post ideas (hint, hint John Heald...LOL!).

I wouldn't mind, for an additional fee of say $1/minute, sitting on a lounger on either the Serenity or the Lido Deck and enjoying a foot massage. I know Carnival would have to employ a ton more skilled therapists, but...hey...I can dream, right?

Speaking of massages, I'd love to see those Lazy Boy-esque massage chairs stationed around the ship where people can just throw in their S&S card and select a time option for a nominal fee (this, of course, for those who don't want a stranger's hands on their bodies).

For those who like those quick 10-minute rejuvenating hands-on chair massages, that would be cool, too...those little chairs with massage techs in different stations of the ship...same deal...10 minutes for 15 bucks or whatever...

I'd love to see the buffet open longer during the day....even if it's JUST the salad bar.

I'd love (FOR ONCE) pizza to be ready ALL THE TIME...because experience has shown that even the most disgusting combo doesn't last when people are starving.

I'm sure I'll think of more....but, what are yours?

I would love a Carnival or Any line for that matter "rewards" program. Sort of like keeping track of what people spend onboard and for their cruise . I think they would get tons of feedback if the solo cruiser that pays double rates and gets a lets say $1500 cabin for the week vs. the family of 4 in one inside cabin paying the same amount.Or the people who buy photos and have $1000 bar tabs vs. the non drinkers who have a zero sign and sail bill at the end of the cruise. They should have rewards

HAL's loyalty levels are based on days. 'Days' are days sailed, double for suites and a 'day' for every $300 spent onboard.

I would like to see a Guys Burgers, a Blue Iguana & a Thirsty Frog Pub on ALL the ships we only take the cruises out of LA & those ships don't have any of those. :( I would love to try some of their food. Also I would love it if they could offer both the old way & new way they do pizza. I loved their De Chèvre pizza. My favorite pizza I have ever had. Now I can't ever have it again cause they don't offer it any more. :( I have tried to make at home, but it is just not the same. It use to be my embarkation meal first thing I would get is the De Chèvre pizza & a Fun Ship to drink for lunch. Also another thing I would really love if they could offer the Lobster Raviolis as a starter in the steakhouse. On my last cruise for our 20th Anniversary I asked if I could get them as a starter & they asked the chef & he said no, so why not. :(

The Inspiration and Imagination still have the goat cheese pizza.

I wish to be able to combine all our photos and be able to look at them at the end of the cruise.

HAL does this. One ship had heavy-duty sleeve protectors in several binders. Another had 9x13 manila envelopes, stored in a plastic bin.

NCL's newer ships and Jewel that just came out of dry dock this week has them on Computer screens so you can sit down and view all your pictures at one time them pay to print out the ones you want or buy a disk.

^ second that.

Also:

Extend juice to lunch and afternoon

More affordable drink package. ~3 prepaid drinks for each day of the cruise

Yes yes yessity yes on both of these. Hubby and I are not big drinkers (maybe once in a blue moon) so getting the drink package makes no sense for us because we couldn't drink enough to make it worth the cost per day.

 • More than just pizza available 24 hours. I HATE pizza!
 • An affordable cheers package. I'd like to see this ran as a tiered program, or one price for the whole cabin for XX number of drinks (There is NO way we will drink 30 drinks per day as a couple, especially on port days! We'd be lucky to manage 8-10 each throughout a whole day, and more like 4-5 on port days.)
 • A better room service menu.
 • Coke Freestyle machines for drink package holders. The cans are flat, warm, and if we purchase a never ending package, we should be able to get what we want, when we want it, and as much as we want. Fountain drinks are much cheaper than cans anyway!
 • A coffee bar card program.
 • An option to get all of the photos taken on your cruise on a CD, for a reasonable price. Most of ours didn't turn out well enough to even buy, the skill of the photographers is seriously lacking, so there is no way we would purchase them individually, but we may have purchased a package with them all if it was reasonable.
 • All hot tubs for adult use only. The kids have more than enough crap to do, they can leave the hot tubs for the adults.
 • Bigger adult comedy lounges. Having to be there an hour and a half before the show to get a seat is ridiculous.
 • Better coffee in the MDR.
 • Real cheesecake in the coffee bar, that stuff is GROSS.

Yes.

Last year when we were on the Triumph, one of the nights they had a late night burlesque show that started I think around 10 or 10:30. I headed straight there after the evening's normal show which was in the Rome lounge. Because I didn't get there at 7 or 7:30, I ended up standing the entire show...at the very back of the freaking room. There was nowhere for you to sit if you hadn't shown up much, much earlier and it was irritating.

Turn off the t.v. by the pool. They played Mash reruns. I told my husband this has to be a joke (it wasnt) 11:30 am. Only handful of people by the main pool. Booo Carnival. Play live music, or d.j. Anything but t.v. shows.
biscuits and gravy for breakfast...or dinner.

Flavored coffee creamer would be nice too.
Threadjack:

On our first cruise, we were at a trivia game..I forget what the topic was. But one guy answered "Gravy" as a popular beverage and the host went "Gravy? REALLY?"

We politely informed her that in the South, gravy COULD possibly be considered a beverage.:D
