cunnorl Posted May 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2014 We will be staying in Seattle for a few days pre cruise in July. We will be staying at the Marriott Waterfront. We were thinking of taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Is the ferry dock walkable from the hotel? Thanks
Eaglecw Posted May 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2014 That would be the Colman dock or Pier 52. Yes it’s walkable, about a mile or so South of the Marriott.

We were thinking of taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Is the ferry dock walkable from the hotel? Thanks It's a pretty easy walk--about 3/4 mile, level, nice wide sidewalks all the way on the water side. There are restaurants and touristy shops along much of it, if you want to break it up with a snack or some shopping. The Seattle Aquarium is down there, too. mapleleaves Posted May 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2014 ypu might also consider taking the water taxi to Alki Beach, West Seattle. It leaves from Pier 50.
