Yes. On the Emerald there are two sections to the buffet, the Horizon Ct. and Cafe Caribe with shared seating area. One or both are open from 6am until 11pm or midnight serving all meals and desserts. They never close during these times.

That's great, thanks very much. I posted this question as the Princess website stated that it didn't open in the evenings for dinner and we sometimes like to eat there if returning to the ship late.

Cafe Caribe sometimes has themed dinners during the cruise.

Barvarian etc.

Beginning around Christmas last year, the Emerald Princess stopped offering any dinners in the Cafe Caribe and instead always used one side of the Horizon Court Buffet. Shortly afterwards, they introduced the extra cost Crab Shack in one side of the Cafe Caribe several nights each cruise.

just came off the emerald --yes and a very good buffet too
