CruiserBruce Posted May 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2014 I would start by doing all sorts of reading on the Celebrity board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=28 for all the Celebrity info you will ever need. Similarly, the Med Ports boards, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=603 will have huge volumes of info for you. Join your roll call, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1861868 to see what others on your cruise are doing. Lastly, just relax and have fun. Don't sweat the small stuff. Far too many fun things to do.

This is a more general forum and the links Bruce gave you will set you up nicely for more researching and details.
pris993 Posted June 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2014 We have been cruising the Mediterranean since l989... lots to see and enjoy. Best suggestion is don't try to do it all. Mediterranean cruises are port intensive. Pace yourself, plan some down time along the way. You are going to have a great time. All the ports are great. Our first cruise in l989 was from Venice to London, I can still remember passing Gilbralter at night, seeing N. Africia on one side and Spain on the other. We have returned to the Mediterranean so many times we have lost count. Our next cruise in October on the Silhouette is out of Rome. We have family overseas, so be are not typical tourists, enjoy exploring ports mostly on our own. We get off and wander around.
