Recommended Posts

finally figured out how to check my hubby's offer, he has a casino offer but I dont!!! I drop at least twice if not three times as much as him in the casino!!!

To bad we cant use any of the casino offer cruises right now. Hopefully he will get one we can use for our winter cruise!!

We just came back in April, and we have the player's club offer.

Not sure there is any reward involved, but rather an incentive to get someone to cruise.

Kevin C

Well its good to know they're not excluding people who cruise recently from the offers.

YES!! Just scored a balcony next month on my favorite ship Legend 7 day,for a grand total of 475. Yep, less than 250 a person, plus 100 onboard credit. I could have booked an inside for 50. Amazing price. I'm paying over 200 less for both of us, than I paid for one of us last Dec. Just couldn't afford to not book.

I adore Carnival!!!

I must be blind, I don't see a submit button by my VIFP number? I log in to Carnival.com, then click on manage account, then choose vifp offer and then it says no offers at this time? Can anyone set me straight on what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Just out of curiosity, if you got a free cruise, say 5 days out of Miami, how much would you pay for port fees and taxes? Does anyone know? How about for a 7 day cruise? Not expecting exact figures here, just trying for a ballpark estimate...

You're not doing anything wrong. There is just another way to get to the VIFP section without logging in. The link for that was posted in this previous post:

http://www.carnival.com/loyalty/specialoffers.aspx

Then click on "Look Up my VIFP Number". When you click on that it will ask for your name and birthday, then show you your number. After it pulls that up, click SEARCH, then click SUBMIT. Scroll down and you will see all of your VIFP current offers. I do this with every member of my family, much easier to search them by name and birthday then to pull out each of their VIFP numbers. But it's important to click SEARCH and SUBMIT every time you do each person to see each VIFP member offer.

Under the terms and conditions of your special offer they list all the offers that the Carnival Players Club and Carnival are offering. Currently there are 5 different free cabin offers:

Free Balcony Stateroom (CC1) book by 6/26/14 sail between 5/6/14-1/31/15.

Free Oceanview Stateroom (CCF) book by 6/26/14 sail between 5/6/14-1/31/15.

Free Stateroom & $200 Casino Cash (CC2) book by 6/26/14 sail between 5/6/14-1/31/15.

Free Interior Stateroom (CC3) book by 6/26/14 sail between 5/6/14-1/31/15.

Free Interior Cabin on Canival Imagination or Carnival Inspiration (PTW) book by 6/26/14 sail between 5/6/14-1/31/15.

All of these offers have "Carnival Players Club reserves the right to change or cancel this promotion at any time."

So, it appears that it is the Players Club that is offering all of the free cabins. I am happy for all who get one!

THANKS!

I also see all these offers along with several others on mine. 34 offers to be exact. Multiple Free cruise, Casino Cash, Free cruise with casino cash etc. They just don't list which cruises are available to choose like my last Free cruise in 2012 I got which listed 10 separate cruises to choose from.

hmmmm, I may be placing a call to my PVP with some of these codes and see if any ships are listed for them or if they are random across the fleet. I still also have 3 Future Cruise Certificates i need to use up.

I will post back if anything comes up for booking. :D

I'm curious....Had you cruised during the past 12 months? There seems to be a trend that those of us who cruise frequently do not receive any "special offers". Hope someone from Carnival is reading this thread and notices that we have discovered their methods. Good why to discourage frequent cruises Carnival! You reward people for NOT cruising????

Nope this can't be it. I've cruised 8 times in the past year and a half (at least) and I scored a great deal on my newly booked Legend cruise next month. There is no reason, I think some get'em and others don't.

According to my PVP the Casino Player's club" offers are completely random. I'm sure there is some inside formality that looks at past spending etc. I have received a FREE CRUISE in a GS already and multiple casino offers. I spend a little on each trip, but 95-98% of the time I come out ahead or break even.

Yeah, some peope are confusing all of the offers carnival has out there with what they are actually eligible for. When you go into your VIFP number, the first page that shows up is the offers you have available for yourself. If you click on one of those offers, it takes you to a page that you can link to terms and conditions, thats where there is a huge list of all things carnival has out there for all kinds of people-but they not specific to the person looking at that page. You have to have a qualifying vifp number, when you read all these offers, it should be obvious to people that you dont qualify for all of them. They overlap, they are similar offers, they cover all different times. My terms and conditions link lists tons of these offers--they all have different 3 digit rate codes--you have to be specifically offered that rate code.

Like everyone stated, the casino rates are good... U don't even hafta gamble much and you'll get a 10% discount on ur next cruise.... My dad throws down a couple grand and he has had multiple 100% free room offers.... Not a bad gig!

I have a Casino offer on my VIFP. My husband, who is always in the casino with me, has nothing but the 2 cat upgrade. The casino offer gave us a discounted rate + $25 casino credit. I have only sailed on Carnival twice before - once in 2007 for 7 days on the Liberty and a 4 day on the Ecstasy last March. We used this offer to book the July 3 Carnival Paradise sailing. The price dropped after I booked a week ago so they also gave us a free upgrade from inside to ocean view

We've been on a cruise a year since 2011 and nada. No offers. We're not gamblers...but it may be worth it to feed the machine some money on our next cruise, to increase our chances of a Casino Offer.

ok, maybe this is the trick, I had the first offer, 40% and 75 cash so I kept checking different cruises for 2 weeks then bam got the pack and go free inside that I upgraded to a balcony. So if you get somthing look interested and maybe you get somthing better later or maybe its just random. Log on and look for a cruise becasue they know you are out there

I have been on 26 Carnival cruises and am a VIFP member. I was just curious ... have any of you received a "special offer just for you" when you click on the "my offers" link? Every time I look, it only says, Sorry, there are no special offers for you at this time. I look every day.... anyone??

Oh you're not alone. These free cruise offers that people are posting about piss me off to no end. We've been on 15 Carnival cruises plus I'm a TA and I probably book 3-4 Carnival cruises for clients every week. But there's no free cruise for me.

How's this....if I win a free cruise I'll take you and if you win take me then were both happy?? Haha

I feel the same way I have been on over 20 Carnival cruises in fact I am sailing on the Breeze Sunday and have not received an offer for a free cruise. But I did receive 2 free cruises from land casinos 1 is Carnival (sail in Oct.) and 1 is Norwegian (sail in Nov.).

I am a gambler. And have been cruising with Carnival since 1993, 26 cruises, and next one is not booked yet. Haven't decided if I can go again this year or not.

And not once have i received any offers in my VIFP offers.

This whole free cruise promotion has angered so many people (and it should). They are giving so many freebies to people that received them the last round and also multiple cruises to some families. I told them they should have offered some benefit to all VIFP members instead of this. I guess they are going to let some people cruise every year for free. I am glad I am not a stockholder in CCL. The last cruise I was on they had a number of free cruisers and the ship still was 400+ from capacity.

I congratulate the people that are getting the free cruises but the process is exactly why my current booked cruises are all on RC, Celebrity and NCL.

I have also been receiving free cruise offers from land-based casinos. We went of NCL Breakaway last summer, and this summer will be going on NCL Gem, and Christmas will be on NCL Epic - for a steal of a price. (free inside cabin which we upgrade to a balcony) What is nice about NCL is that they have been accepting my free cruise offers over the phone without me having to go to the casino to pick up my certificate! They seem to have them loaded into their computer. Saves me a trip to AC or Foxwoods, and (probably) money!;):D

As I said above - if you gamble at a land-based casino you may have free cruises you don't even know about. I called NCL to see if they would give me a discount based on my CCL play, (we were ready to wander from CCL) and they said they would give me a free cabin thru Foxwoods!! I didn't even know I had an "offer" thru them. My next two NCL cruises are thru Resorts in AC- and again, I didn't even have to go to AC - just called NCL Casino at Sea and they had it in their computer.
