On Navigator: Only thing I can think of is for slots, you get points and I think you can get some percentage of cash back. They were swiping cards for the table games but I think that was just a tracking deal to see what people are playing and how much they are winning/losing. I wish they had a rewards program of some sort, even if it was just for a free drink or discounted restaurant here and there.

My sister is a member. She gets free drinks in the casino, cash back on her next cruise (depending on the time and amount she gambled), offers for free cruises, spa treatments, no fee for getting cash on her card, etc. She does play a lot each day (blackjack). She would be playing whether or not they had the players club, so it does help her bottom line.:)

guess I wasn't betting enough to earn these things. bummer. on another note, $200 for the while playing the $6 or $10 table kept me entertained for the entire week and i left with $300 lol so I guess I can't complain too much.

Two hours per day, every day of your cruise at a minimum of $50 per hand is a high amount of play. If I'm playing that much I'm taking my vacations in Vegas or AC where the odds are better and the comps/rewards are better. I get rated in Atlantic City and get modest but better rewards and comps for a lot less play.

Club Royale does require a fairly high amount of play. For slots players, they look for 2,000 points to be earned during the cruise to be invited to join their program. (Each point represents $5 played.)

Just as NCL casino at seas has a tie in with CET total rewards program, RCCL casino Club Royale has an arrangement with MGM properties ' mlife' players. The program gives you lots of perks even if a first timer on RCCL - I'm a 1st timer on RCCL with an upcoming cruise and with my mlife platinum status got $700.00 credit towards my cruise plus 10 free drinks in casino, priority boarding etc...gold status has benefits as well.

If you are an mlife MGM/Mirage etc mar and interested I Can provide more info on request - still a novice in many areas but glad to help point you in that direction.

I agree it is a high amount of play. The casino host on our April cruise told us the benefits could be based on the length of play without the $50 per hand. My sister plays two hands of blackjack sometimes just $15 each. But she plays for HOURS each day.

Thank you for all the replies. Anyone that is familiar with NCL CAS, can you tell me is royal program similar? Do they have a CAS booking department?

If you are asking if Royal's Club Royale has their own booking department, the answer is yes. A friend of mine won a "free" cruise playing slots, and had to book through that department. They would not let him use his normal travel agent for the "free" cruise.

I'm a roulette player in the club. They like to see $25 avg bet and 3 hrs per night for roulette to get any kind of rebate. I have gotten rebates playing less time but higher avg bets. Rebates I've gotten ranged from 0, to $100, to $350, to$600, depending on my bets and time. Yes free drinks in casino are nice. The best thing is they now offer casino rates for each cruise. Some cruises are about 50% off. For example, they told me a boardwalk balcony on Oasis this July was going for $1200 total for the cabin including tax!

One thing to note- it seems like I had to exceed the bets and play time to get invited in the club but once I got i , the benefits are awesome

Yes, casino info on the rccl website can be found at:

select:

All about cruising, onboard experience, Casino, players club

Then select club royals or mlife for MGM resorts players details

Based on mlife tier level you can qualify for a free cruise or $350 or $700 on sailings thru dec 2014...plus more benefits

The RCCL number to call is 800-762-0702 for the equivalent to CAS booking.
