Promenade Rooms on the Explorer

Recommended Posts

I've booked a PR room for the second time (I really liked it), but the only decks they had open were 7 and 8. I booked deck 7. My first PR was on deck 6 and I really enjoyed the people watching. My question - does deck 6 have a better view or is deck 7 just as good? Noise doesn't bother me - I usually stay up well past the parades and DH can sleep through the destruction of a city as well as his alarm  I'm just wondering if I should keep an eye out for a deck 6 cabin or go with deck 7. Thanks guys! (Just a note - it won't ruin my cruise whatever deck I'm on!)

Thank you! I appreciate it. Will give Deck 7 a try. Much easier than checking for another cabin. I'm a fan of easy!

TY! I found last time in our deck 6 PR that I enjoyed the "city view" and didn't miss the price of a balcony at all! There's nice access to seating on open decks on Deck 4 (I think it's 4) so I was able to watch the ocean, and I liked being able to watch the parades and the disco party on the Promenade without being overwhelmed by LOUD music. Had no problem with closing the curtains at night and if you want to watch me in my cabin during the day it should lull you into a nice nap! :D
