Vacationlover2 Posted June 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I currently have an inside guarantee. For $800 more, which is about 30% more, I can upgrade to a mini suite. Do you think that is worth it? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

CasinoCruzGirl Posted June 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2014 $800 seems like a lot to me. Personally I don't do insides but if your comfortable with an inside I would save my dollars for other things
sailingnut Posted June 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Really the mini-suite is just like a balcony~~except the shower is a little different. I went on the "Breakaway" last October to Bermuda and went from a "solo" cabin to a balcony and really enjoyed it!
Vacationlover2 Posted June 15, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted June 15, 2014 The lowest balcony category is $650 more than the inside and $150 less than the mini suite Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Crusin6 Posted June 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2014 We only do Insides or ov. Prefer to save the money for other fun things at the ports Fwiw we do a 2 week beach vaca each year as well and our deck is right on the water so we don't miss it on a ship but if a ship was our only ocean type of vaca then I would be getting the cheapest balcony available

chiapet Posted June 15, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Agree with the OPs ... the mini-suite is pretty much just like a a regular balcony cabin and you do NOT get any of the *suite* amenities ... BUT if it did ... that would a different story ;)
KirkNC Posted June 15, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I don't but some probably will.
rocky55 Posted June 15, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I would do the regular balcony room for $650 more. I love having a balcony, and also being able to just look out at the ocean even if I am inside my cabin. I would not do the mini suite. Only the bathrooms are bigger, and actually I think the views from most of the minisuites are worse than the regular balconies. Sauer-kraut Posted June 15, 2014 #12 Share Posted June 15, 2014 For that price you can do another 'off season' cruise!!
Submariner Posted June 15, 2014 #13 Share Posted June 15, 2014 $650 can pay for UDP, UBP and a few left for Cuban cigars in Bermuda ..... Sent from my iCouch
gymbomb Posted June 15, 2014 #14 Share Posted June 15, 2014 For 2 people in the cabin I do not think it would be worth it. If I were putting more than 2 in the cabin I would go for it if I could afford it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
