C 2 C Posted June 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Milicia is a new name to the concierge team on board Celebrity ships. The Concierge will meet you upon boarding, can be helpful in getting priority tendering, disembarkation, dining arrangements etc. The Concierges we have met have all been wonderful in providing a wonderful experience in Michael's. amelie0119 Posted June 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Yes, we are on the Millie now, in a Royal Suite. Richard is our butler and Mariska is our Concierge. Her desk is in Michael's. She is amazing! The whole Michael's Club experience is being taken to a whole new level and very much "makes" the suite experience. We were personally escorted onto the ship via a private entrance and taken directly to Michael's where we had drinks, waited until about 1:30 for our suite to be ready. Mariska was there to answer any questions, was so helpful. Michael's is open all day/evening and free drinks (of any kind) flow freely. Makes buying a drink package a more difficult decision. Know that, if you are in a suite, you can stop into Michael's anytime for large water bottles, sodas, beer, wine and cocktails. Other questions? cle-guy Posted June 23, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 23, 2014 Just for our email from Michael's Concierge Milicia for our Equinox sailing in 6 days! Nice touch! Anyone used this service for anything?? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app If you mean emailing them back in reply to their email. If you have a Royal suite, you can let them know your preferred brand of vodka and whisky to have waiting (your 2 free bottles). Also, if you need any spa appointments (I like a haircut for example), etc. on boarding, or special reservations, anything just email them now and it will be done and waiting. I asked for lemon lime and orange garnishes to be waiting for the bottles of booze and that was there as well. During the cruise if you are looking to book a future cruise talk to concierge and they will have the cruise specialist come to Michaels and meet with you. I read on a post of yours that 1 of the bottles can be switched... Is that true? I'll keep the vodka, but DH wants beer instead of whiskey. What brands are available? But never to beer, just premium vodkas or different whiskey, but I've always swapped BOTH. I with the absolute for grey goose, and sometimes the whiskey for grey goose orange or other times to maker's mark bourbon.

Howub Posted June 23, 2014 #14 Share Posted June 23, 2014 If we have a C2 class stateroom - not a suite - what kind of reception can we expect when we check in? Is there any special treatment for the "little people"?

Is there any special treatment for the "little people"? Nothing special for Concierge cabins. You do have a dedicated check in-lane, maybe shared with Aqua Class but that's about where the special treatment ends until you get into suites. You get priority tender tickets and disembarking but I've never really had any issue with those procedures anyway to need priority so consider it more of a "fluff" perk that really means nothing but looks nice on paper. Moobaby214 Posted June 23, 2014 #16 Share Posted June 23, 2014 Could you find out how long Mariska will remain onboard? We cruise on Millennium in September and are looking forward to spending a lot of time in Michael's. We sailed on the Millennium Transpacific with Maritza. She is scheduled to be on the Millennium through July but her contract is not up until November. At the time, Maritza did not know if that meant she would be moving ships or if she would be staying on the Millennium. bobsfamily Posted June 23, 2014 #17 Share Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) What level of "suite" does the entrance to Michael's become a perk? I guess what I am asking is if Sky Suites are included or is it the CS level? Edited June 23, 2014 by bobsfamily

bonedoc7 Posted June 24, 2014 #20 Share Posted June 24, 2014 Thanks! Would you know if our children would be able to join us? They will be in the connecting sky suite and it would be nice to be able to have a drink with them in the lounge. I realize that our extended family (in other staterooms) will not be able to join us, but I am hoping that the kids will. On our march break cruise we had an RS and the kids in the connecting concierge. Our butler told us we would be welcomed at Blu for breakfast but the kids will not be able to join us. Would this be the same? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

They have been very strict in enforcing the rules.
garlinn Posted June 24, 2014 #22 Share Posted June 24, 2014 Just for our email from Michael's Concierge Milicia for our Equinox sailing in 6 days! Nice touch! Anyone used this service for anything?? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app You will love Millie. We were on the TA this spring and she was wonderful. Some examples - Wife had a problem with a spa appointment (first cruise after Canyon Ranch took over) and Millie straightened out with one phone call. Has a problem with the account, went and set down at her desk while she fixed it instead of going to customer service. She will also book shore excursions and specialty dining for you. It you need anything or have any kind of a problem go see her.
bonedoc7 Posted June 24, 2014 #23 Share Posted June 24, 2014 That's unfortunate. I would have thought that they would consider it since we basically booked it as an extension to the PH making it a two bedroom. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app I'm going to sound harsh: It is NOT a PH and even if it were they still would not be allowed entry into Michael's Club since they are in a Sky Suite. A Sky Suite by any other name is still a Sky Suite. The program is new and if they start making any exceptions they will open a Pandora's box of problems. Perhaps as the program progresses they will lighten up, but it would be a mistake to do it now. Edited June 24, 2014 by Orator
bonedoc7 Posted June 24, 2014 #25 Share Posted June 24, 2014 I get that it is not the PH, I also understand the rules. It was a question, not a demand and my only comment was that it was unfortunate, no need for harsh words. I am sure that I will enjoy a nice cocktail on our balcony with our kids!
