While not wild about the price I have check the past rate history and $978.00 for a porthole room on the magic 7 day (I specifically chose the porthole rooms) is the lowest I've seen it. The previous week is like 918.00.

So everything except insurance & parking comes to $1,129.74. My hats off to you folks that get balconies for about the same price.

Just saying ......

I pay $700.00 (including port charge n taxes) for 7 night cruises to new England and canada in October on splendor for a 1A room. I think it was a good deal since I don't have to pay single supplements. It would be better If I have more money to put down for deposit than I could grt $200.00 obc. However, I am happy with the promotion.

I paid 469 for an ocean view cabin on pride 7 day cruise.

I paid for the cruise off my debit card when I called to book it, and that was the final price divided by 3.

Divided by three??? So your total cabin price was $1410.00?

Yes. That was my price. That was taxes and all.

Is that high or something?

I felt pretty darn good with that price. I didn't bother doing the price matching, making false bookings to check price, ect. I paid it and forgot about it.

I think it's an excellent price for the Pride. What time of year? Summer sailings are expensive IMO.

Booked the Destiny for 2 people, 5 days, for about $399 each in an aft-wrap. Older DD wanted to join us, so I had to move to Liberty 7 Day (Destiny had no availability for three people in my cabin category). No problem, no change fee, selected Liberty's pack and go rate at $399 per person for interior on deck 10. :) THEN, three weeks before we were to sail got a phone call from the upsell fairy with an offer (and accepted) Deck 8 balcony for extra $100 total. :D NICE DEAL! :)

Best deal was last week: Carnival Splendor, 2 people, free cruise offer. 8-days interior SPA cabin for $288 TOTAL! We rolled out of bed at home and to the port, no need to buy airfare! We had "upgraded amenities" and spa access the entire time! :D

Next cruise in 2015: $176 per person, 4 nights Bahamas in January, it's the only cruise out of Florida that will be away on my daughter's 18th birthday without having to take too much time off from school and college classes hadn't started yet. :) I am also able to get free flights to Florida! Win-win again!

No I don't think it's high I was just confused by the dividing by three.

April.

I am finding out that August Sept seems to be the cheapest by A LOT.

I divided by 3 for the PP price. 3 of us, 469pp

Well the division thru me for a loop..thought you meant $156pp when you meant multiply by 3 and that was MUCH more realistic..LOL

I am finding just the opposite. The lowest rates for August 2015 are starting at $579 pp for an inside on the Pride.

One month ago. I booked a 6-day Western Carib on the newly refurbished Freedom as a SOLO for $319,- with taxes, $415.

The trip is in early December, a 1A cabin midship (one of the biggest cabins in that category)

8-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Breeze in August. List price was $3,581 (including all fees and taxes and port charges) for 2 people in an Ocean Suite. Based on our VIFP numbers, we got a $150 pp reduction at booking, so are paying $3,281 plus got a $275 OBC from our TA. Thrilled to be back on the Breeze!

We paid $1478 per cabin (2 passengers per cabin) for 3 cabins in 8E category on the Valor for Jan 18th 2015. It is a great rate for those Lido deck balconies IMHO, as they are running $1548 per cabin now. Hoping for a little price drop but happy with the price if not. The lowest balcony price on the ship is what we paid.

My next room is a 5 day cruise in October. We paid $707.00 (total) before taxes and fees for 3 of us in a 4B, with a casino rate. There were actually cruises that were even cheaper but they were out of Florida. We are leaving from NOLA, so we can drive and save a little money. We already went on a cruise this year which was much more expensive and we normally do NOT take two vacations per year. But this price was so good, it was hard to pass up.

Some of the great deals I have gotten in the past $334 per person for 2 people in the highest category inside (the one with a window) on Valor in Feb 2009 and $449 pp for a balcony (3 people) on Conquest in April 2012. The cruise in the balcony was the only time I booked ES and I still got some OBC. BUt normally I don't pay much so I would not get much OBC even if booked ES.

Just booked 1A large inside on Verandah deck, Conquest 10/12/14 7 night sailing to Half Moon Bay, San Juan, St Thomas and San Juan for $588, taxes, port and service charge included.

This was not on Carnival's web site, but another major cruise procurer.

Here's our pricing on our upcoming cruise for August on the Sunshine.

Cabin #1: Booked an IS cabin for 2 using ES+Military rates w/$100 obc for $600pp ($1,200 total) including taxes in Jan/Feb. Changed today to Pack-n-go rate for a BL guarantee for $100 more total, but lost the $100 obc. So I would estimate $1,300 total, not including the $100 OBC lost.

Cabin #2: Booked an IS cabin for three using the ES rate for $2,160 total or $720pp. Changed today to Pack-n-go rate for a BL guarantee for $130 more total, for a total of $2,290 or $763pp.

Cabin #3: Booked an IS cabin for 2 using the ES/Residency rate for $549.00pp or $1,098 total. Changed to Casino Promo a few months ago for same rate, but gained $50 obc. Changed today to Pack-n-go rate for a BL guarantee for $246 more total, and lost the $50 obc. So I would estimate $1,344 total or $672pp.

Cabin #4: Booked an IS for 2 using ES Rate for $1640 total or $820pp. This booking was originally a single/solo booking and the second party added several months later, which made final payment due on July 17th. Changed recently to Senior Rate which dropped the price of $123.00, and final payment due immediately. I couldn't get this booking changed to the Pack-n-go rate for some reason with two different agents, but I may just pay difference for them to get a balcony by weeks end.

Late night followup on Cabin #4: I went on Carnival website tonight to see if the cabins had been assigned to the ones that were upgraded earlier, and their still listed as TBA. While on there, I did another rate check for the cabin that had the large pricing difference, and the price for the Pack-n-go rate had dropped to the price of the others, so I called and was able to get that cabin changed to a BL guarantee also after approval from a Supv. It pays to keep checking, and to be persistent, even when one or two representatives tell you can't make the change, and/or the pricing is higher than you want to pay. The final pricing was the original price of $1,640 for a BL guarantee.

I paid $1829 per person for my 23 night cruise from Long Beach to Sydney - is myself & my husband in an inside cabin.

I think at the beginning (booked around 6 months ago) we may have gotten $50 p/p price reduction, but other than that - no drops.

I figure it was a decent price, because all I needed to do was buy a 1 way from Australia to America (went via Hawaii), then pay the cruise fare and I am home after a long cruise.

I guess I should say I was looking at next year.

August 2015 4 people lowest 414pp

Sept 2015 349 pp!

Now that we have a kid in school it gets a little harder taking one during school season, but I guess she will have to miss a week.

Our last cruise:

Dream - Jan 4th sailing (2014)

Spa Balcony (2) $16XX ( with tax and fees after ES adjustments/Military rate)

Spa Inside (4) $1751 (with tax and fees after ES adjustments)

Spa Inside (4) $1751 (with tax and fees after ES adjustments)

Our next cruise:

Valor - Jan 4 sailing (2015)

Cabin 6483 Aft wrap balcony (2) $1724 ( including tax/fees after 25% discount . No ES adjustments yet and I doubt we will beat the 25% anyways)

Now to get a great deal on airfare.

I don't care if someone knows what I paid. I will not feel special if you paid more and I will not feel like an idiot if you paid less  :) :D
