Sky Suite - Suite Life?

We don't drink alcohol, so Michaels has no appeal to us. Hopefully Sky Suite prices will go down so if most people will desire a higher level suite, then we can continue to get them for a better price. Works for us! :D

Probably won't go down since those in Sky Suites will have the new Suite Dining room. My guess is that one should be ready to pay higher prices.

I just looked at prices and availability on our Nov. 2015 TA on Eclipse. All of the prices of Sky Suites have increased by $500.p/p since we booked and there aren't any Celebrity Suites available. Also, Royal Suites have also become significantly more expensive. I wonder if this is due to the "suite dining room" expectation as well as Michael's Club for CS and above? If so, public relations has done a very good job.

I am not sure how Michaels club will work. Maybe it will get busier and have a special feel. It depends what Celebrity does. It seems to me the evening cocktail parties have less appeal since the drink packages came Into being.

There are many overlapping benefits to a celebrity cruise, we have yet to attend an elite breakfast because of Blu, it seems possible Michaels Club maybe the same way, with guests meeting at other venues or in the suites.

Do you ever go to guest services with an issue on your bill (not that this would EVERY happen on Celebrity ;) )? Now you'd go to Michael's and be all set, not line, and it actually gets done.

Have you every waited to meet a future cruise sales rep? Now, just go to Michael's and make an appointment to meet you there.

Ever have an internet issue and there are lots of people there? Just go to Michael's let them know the problem and they'll work to solve it.

Do you have a port, or need a special disembarkation time? Just see the concierge in Michael's.

I can imagine other uses as well, but I think you get the idea.

We have an upcoming cruise, where we received a special resident rate, significantly less for the cabin than it was offered at any other point, but, of course, no beverage package with the special resident rate, so Michael's will be a nice benefit in this case.

Happy sailing,

Jenna

I agree. This, and having an uncrowded place to meet others, is precisely why Michael's Club appeals to me. The availability of beverages is just an added bonus.

Our next cruise was booked some time back and we will be on Silhouette for a 14 night British Isles cruise in a C1 on the aft, next door to my sister and bil. So no suite on that cruise - however next on the bucket list is Alaska and Panama Canal - so I think we'll be looking at that first Celebrity or Royal suite experience on one of those.
