Is March a good time to do a Southern Caribbean cruise?!

We did late February this year and the weather was wonderful (84-90). At every port there was no or only one other ship. We really enjoyed this port intensive cruise and we are planning an encore, but this time just Carol & me. Last time we had 8 and it was nice but hectic.

Yes, you will enjoy the weather in those ports. You may also want to look at the dates since it is college spring break. So if that is important to you, the earlier in March you go the better.

we did this trip last February and are planning to do the exact trip again in March. See you on board. We are planning on a bit more warmth an maybe a bit calmer seas, not that either was a problem in February. It was unique only having one sea day, but we're beach people and it was great.

So glad to hear this! We leave March 8th out of San Juan... Hopefully it won't be too filled with Spring Breakers...

I did a southern last January with Celebrity and the weather was gorgeous and there were few young kids and hardly any college age kids around.

 

Same thing last time I did a Southern on the Destiny too, but that was 2006.

Did this cruise out of San Juan the last week in March two years ago. Great weather. Early March is college break but not a lot of college students can afford this type of cruise.
